SCA appoints Jennifer Goggin as new PodcastOne content director
Southern Cross Austereo has announced Jennifer Goggin as the new content director for PodcastOne Australia.
She replaces Jaime Chaux, who is departing the company to join Commercial Radio Australia as head of digital.
Goggin commences her new role on March 26
Formerly an assistant producer for BBC Northern Ireland’s magazine radio show, Blas. She has previously held roles including producing roles across both podcasting and radio.
In her new role, Goggin will handle executive of PodcastOne Australia’s content strategy. She will select, commission and develop new podcasts, and will managing the PodcastOne US and Australia content slate.
Grant Tothill, head of PodcastOne Australia said she would be a wonderful addition to the “growing podcast family”.
“We haven’t even reached our first birthday yet and PodcastOne is growing in its popularity and reach every week driven primarily through its domestic podcasts. With over 40 original locally created podcasts, and with many more in development, the growth of the business is showing Australians are hungry for high quality story-telling audio on demand,” Tothill said.
Goggin, who commences her new role on March 26, is excited to join the company.
“Podcasting has been my passion and obsession for a number of years and I look forward to creating more of the premium, entertaining and engaging output that PodcastOne is already known for,” Goggin said.
