SCA’s Perth GM, Gina Hogan, exits

Southern Cross Austereo’s general manager of Perth, Gina Hogan, has exited the business, making the decision to relocate to Brisbane with her family following her maternity leave.

An SCA spokesperson confirmed the decision and thanked Hogan for her work in the market.

Hogan has decided to leave Perth and SCA for Brisbane

“SCA’s GM of Perth, Gina Hogan, has made the decision to relocate back home to Queensland where she will be closer to family,” said the spokesperson.

“We thank Gina for a truly outstanding career with SCA and we wish her all the best for the next chapter in her life.”

Hogan oversaw the daily operations of SCA’s Perth stations Mix 94.5 and Hit 92.9. She relocated to WA for the role, leaving a position at SCA in Cairns.

Hogan had also held roles with Prime Radio and Seven.

Hogan said she had thoroughly enjoyed her time with SCA.

“I started at SCA when I was 19 and it has been my home for 15 of my 20-year media career. It has been a truly wonderful experience with all the peaks and troughs we come to know and love in media, I have grown up with the company and the highlights reel is far too long to list.

“Media is an evolving fast-paced industry full of targets and deadlines, it all comes down to the people and the ability to find the fun in each day. I couldn’t have asked for a better team, and I know you’re destined to continue doing big things. Thank you for all the laughs and learnings. SCA is a fantastic place to work, the values and culture will forever be part of who I am.”

Mix 94.5 recently became the top radio station in Perth, as of GfK radio ratings survey eight, with a 13.6% share in people 10+.

Hit 92.9’s breakfast host Heidi Anderson is also leaving the station to focus on her family next year.
