Sdrauligh says goodbye to Film Victoria
Sandra Sdraulig is about to finish her last week as CEO of Film Victoria, a position she’s held since 2002.
“Working at Film Victoria and with Victoria’s outstanding screen practitioners has been a privilege and a pleasure. For me this week is not about my farewell – it’s about thanking the industry for their passion, hard work and creative force, and for allowing me to support and be a part of their amazing achievements over the past nine years,” said Sdraulig.
In a statement to the media, Film Victoria president John Howie said Sdrauligh has played “an instrumental part” in the transofrmation of the Victorian screen industry.
“[An industry] which under her leadership has increased yearly output from below $90m per annum to record-high achievements above $260m per annum. Film Victoria is now recognised nationally for its innovative, forward-looking programs and initiatives and industry-first events. It is respected internationally for its world-class film commission services,” he said.
Sdraulig’s last day at the agency will be March 25. Her successor has not yet been appointed; Jenni Tosi will act as CEO until the position is filled.
