Doctor Doctor beats Wrong Girl in local drama season finale battle

Last night saw the season finale of two local dramas, with Nine’s Doctor Doctor claiming the crown for most watched non-news program of the night beating Ten’s The Wrong Girl.

The show which screened in the 8:40pm time slot saw 785,000 viewers tune in for the finale – an increase on last week’s 707,000.

In the same time slot on Ten Zoe Foster Blake’s The Wrong Girl achieved 445,000, up slightly up from last week’s 443,000, while Seven’s Surveillance Oz drew an audience of 578,000 in the same time slot for Seven; ABC’s Upper Middle Bogan recorded 550,000 viewers.

Seven’s Reality TV show First Dates aired at 7:30pm and was the second most watched non-news program with 758,000 viewers and was the most watched show across all demographics, while Nine’s Matt and Kim to the Rescue managed 484,000.

Jamie Oliver’s Jamie’s Superfood Family Classics, also airing at 7:30pm on Ten, recorded an audience of 455,000 up from last week’s 445,000.

Seven News being the most watched program of the night recording an audience of 949,000 at 6pm and 920,000 at 6.30pm ahead of Nine news which had 815,000 at 6pm rising to 832,000 at 6.30pm.
