Sefiani launches new consumer PR agency Kite Communications

Strategic PR firm Sefiani Communications has today launched a new consumer agency Kite Communications, which will operate independently.

The release:

Leading strategic PR firm Sefiani Communications Group today announced the launch of a new consumer and challenger brand communications agency, Kite Communications.

Kite will operate separately from its corporate and financial communications sister agency Sefiani, which last year won the coveted award for Asia-Pacific Corporate and Public Affairs Agency of the Year (judged by The Holmes Report).

Heather Mollins, who joined Sefiani from Ogilvy Public Relations last October, has been named General Manager to lead Kite and its inaugural team of six professionals.

“Kite specialises in creative PR, social and digital engagement and brand activation to build brand profile and loyalty by engaging with audiences in meaningful ways,” said Ms Mollins. “We are already applying our skills with great results, to a number of new clients including Tourism NT, which Kite won in a hotly contested competitive tender process.

“Kite also appeals to challenger brands and start-up innovators looking for fast and effective ways to build market presence,” she said.

Founder and Group Managing Director of Sefiani Communications Group, Robyn Sefiani commented:  “Our DNA as an independent firm is to constantly seek new and exciting opportunities for our clients and our staff.  Clients want and expect specialisation from their agencies, so the time is right for us to separate our consumer offer from Sefiani and launch Kite with the energy, creative resources and experience of a talented team.

“Heather’s entrepreneurial spirit means she leads Kite with enthusiasm and determination.  With over  ten years’ international experience, a track record of delivering great results for clients and an inspiring leadership style, Kite is in skilled hands,” said Ms Sefiani.
