Semi-Permanent is coming to Carriageworks in 2014

Semi-Permanent, a creative festival, has announced an expansion to its line-up with a new venue and a three-day program of exhibitions.

The announcement:

Semi-Permanent, the world’s premier creative festival, has announced it is expanding its line-up with a brand new venue and a three-day program of exhibitions and screenings taking place at Carriageworks in Eveleigh, Sydney on 22-24th May 2014.

Semi-Permanent 2014 will be the biggest in the festival’s 12-year history, when designers, artists, filmmakers and creative icons from around the globe will converge on the Carriageworks auditorium to present 18 talks over three-days.

Next year’s Semi-Permanent will also include a huge line-up of exhibitions and installations, daily film screenings, music performances, parties, workshops and networking events.

“We are really excited about Semi-Permanent Sydney 2014. It’s going to be an evolution on previous events with a new venue, a new format and the addition of extra components within the one venue. We are pushing the event to be more of a festival, with a variety of inspiring options for anyone interested in art or design,” say Semi-Permanent co-founders and directors Andrew Johnstone and Murray Bell.

Since 2003, Semi-Permanent has established itself as a platform for creativity, design, art and inspiration with annual events in Australia and New Zealand, and global events in London, Hong Kong, Stockholm, New York, Los Angeles and Portland.
