Seven announces the partners for its summer of cricket coverage

Seven has announced the suite of partners for its 2019-20 summer of cricket coverage, including new additions Optus and Huddle.

Returning to the network for the second year are KFC, Bunnings and P&O. Additional partners include AHM, Alinta, Chemist Warehouse, Domain, Gillette, Harvey Norman, KFC, Lion, Specsavers, Toyota and Woolworths.

Seven and Foxtel won the broadcast rights to the cricket, including Test Matches, T20 and Big Bash leagues, in April 2018.

Seven’s cricket coverage kicked off for the year on September 29, broadcasting the Women’s Twenty 20 International between Australia and Sri Lanka. The Women’s Big Bash League also launched on October 18.

The first men’s Test Match, between Australia and Pakistan will start on November 21. The Men’s Big Bash League will launch on Tuesday December 17.

According to Seven, last season’s summer of cricket reached 14.8m Australians.
