Seven staff’s ‘A little bit behind’ short to feature at Cannes Film Festival

A seven-minute film made by Seven staff has been selected to feature in a short film competition at the Cannes Film Festival.

The people who made ‘A Little Bit Behind’ are director Paul Slater, cameraman Leigh Huber and sound man James Petch, who work on Seven breakfast show Sunrise.

The film was shot in less than a day.

The film won Best Film, Best Script and Best Actor in the Sydney competition of the 48 Hour Film Project. The film won a place at an international level of the 48 hour film competition Filmapalooza, part of the Taos Film Festival in New Mexico, to compete against 48 other films from around the world.

There, it won the Best Actor award and was ranked in the top ten to win a screening at Cannes Film Festival on May 16 and 17, 2012.
