Seven kicks off Autumn Carnival racing
Seven will begin its coverage of the Autumn Carnival on Saturday with the All Aged Stakes.

A star-studded field will clash in one of Australia’s most prestigious weight-for-age sprint races, the All Aged Stakes, this Saturday, when race fans can enjoy all the action of the Autumn Carnival’s final day of Group 1 racing LIVE and FREE on Seven.
The Anthony Freedman-trained Santa Ana Lane appears primed for the 1400m feature at Royal Randwick after finishing runner-up to star gelding Nature Strip in the TJ Smith Stakes, while Freedman also has Caulfield Guineas winner Super Seth running.
Last year’s winner Pierata is back for what is expected to be his final race and the five-year-old will be determined to finish his decorated career in the winner’s circle, while Bivouac, Dreamforce and Fierce Impact also loom as genuine contenders.
Among Saturday’s other highlights at Randwick is Australia’s feature mile race for two-year-olds, the Group 1 Champagne Stakes, while The Showdown (1200m) headlines a big day of racing at Caulfield on Victorian Owners and Breeders Race Day.
Jason Richardson will host Seven’s coverage on Saturday, Caulfield trainer Henry Dwyer and Victorian jockey Chris Symons will provide expert comments, while Katelyn Mallyon will be on track for previews and interviews. Bruce McAvaney, Emily Bosson and Corey Brown will provide insights through the day from their living rooms.
