Seven wins a quiet Sunday for TV
Seven won the ratings for Sunday night with the top four shows on what was a quiet night for TV across the board.
The Force on Seven at 8pm was the highest rating show for the evening with just over 1.5 million viewers, according to preliminary OzTam data. It was followed by Border Security at 7:30 (1.4 million), Seven News at 6 (1.4 million) and Sunday Night at 6:30 with 1.2 million.
The ABC performed well with their 8:30 movie The 39 Steps pulling in just over 1.1 million and beating Rescue Special Ops on Nine and a tw0-hour episode of Australian Idol on Ten. Idol did manage to make up some lost ground on the previous two weeks with the audience up on last Sunday’s 976,000 to 1.1 million.
Ten’s Rove fell to 851,000 viewers.

Sunday night saw me going to bed early with a good book. TV on a Sunday night is CRAP unless there’s something decent on the ABC.
