Seven wins Friday with Better Homes and Gardens and Martin Clunes

A quiet Friday night left the Seven Network out in front with Better Homes and Gardens and Martin Clunes: Islands of Australia leading the way as the most watched general entertainment shows.

better_homes_and_gardens_bhag_et_19q7lhc-19q7lhhThe homemaker show drew a five city metro audience of 774,000 at 7pm followed by Clunes’ show at 8pm which attracted 634,000.

News dominated the top four shows with Seven News at 6pm bringing in 933,000, followed by Today Tonight at 6.30pm with 862,000.

Nine’s daily news wrap at 6.30pm was watched by 775,000 and the 6pm bulletin came in fourth with 774,000.

ABC News at 7pm (625,000), The Chase Australia on Seven at 5pm (562,000), A Current Affair on Nine at 7pm (547,000) and Code of a Killer on the ABC at 8.30pm (485,000), rounded out the top 10 shows.

The Ten Network’s best show of the night was the Living Room at 7.30pm with 469,000.

Ten’s second best show for the night was The Project at 7pm, luring 448,000.

Seven’s main channel won the night comfortably with a share of 22.4% ahead of Nine with 14.1%.

Ten and the ABC finished in a dead heat for audience share, each with 12% and SBS record a share of 4.4%.
