Seven wins ratings week with help from My Kitchen Rules

Seven has won the ratings week with an overall audience share of 32.9% with the help of its reality cooking series My Kitchen Rules.

According to OzTAM’s metro ratings, My Kitchen Rules was the most watched non-news program of the week with 1.229m metro viewers for its Tuesday night episode.

Following Seven in overall audience with a 27.7% share, beating ABC’s 17.1% overall audience share.

For the fifth consecutive week Ten finished behind ABC with a 15.1% share while SBS took our a 7.2% share.

Aside from My Kitchen Rules, which took out five of the top ten spots for the week, Nine’s The Voice saw over one million viewers nationally and was the eighth most watched program of the week with 1.013m metro viewers on Sunday evening.

Sunday’s Seven News was the most watched program of the week as 1.234m metro viewers tuned in.

Despite a poor overall performance, Ten’s did have some success in the 16-39s demographic, where the Bachelor in Paradise proposal attracted 362,000 metro viewers beating My Kitchen Rules’ audience of 294,000 in the demographic.
