Seven wins with Packed To The Rafters
Packed To The Rafters eased Seven to a peak time TV ratings win last night, although news coverage of the Victorian bushfires continued to attract large audiences.
According to preliminary OzTam data, the show pulled in an audience of nearly 1.7m, just ahead of Seven News.
Nine’s cricket coverage delivered an audience of 1.4m, although it wasn’t helped by the ease of Australia’s victory over New Zeland. However, with the one-day series now level, Friday night’s decider should rate well for Nine.
Meanwhile Ten’s body language drama Lie To Me rated 1.3m, down 200,000 on its debut last week.
For the night, Seven took a 31.1% share; Nine 29.3%; Ten 23.9%; ABC 12.2%; SBS 3.5%.
