Weight Watchers magazine ups its frequency
Pacific Magazines is looking to buck the gloom in the magazine market by increasing the frequency of Weight Watchers Magazine.
The title, previously bi-monthly, will go monthly with the first edition on sale today. The pagination has been increased and the title is on better paper stock.
In the last set of ABC audit figures, the magazine saw a 5.5% year on year circulation increase. The title is published by Pacific Magazines’ contract publishing arm Text Pacific as a joint venture with Weight Watchers.
Publisher Gareth Cherriman said the relaunch would be supported by a three month retail, point of sale and print campaign within other Pacific Magazines titles. he said: “We are really excited about the launch of the magazine as a monthly.”
