Seven’s AFL grand final tops week 39 VOZ report while The Block wins entertainment

Seven’s AFL grand final episode which saw Melbourne versus the Western Bulldogs dominated total television reporting, topping the latest Total TV Top 20 Programs Consolidated 7 Audience VOZ report for television Week 39.

In the report, covering 19 to 25 September, the footy game episode took the #1 spot with a total of 4.139 million viewers nationally.

The episode’s pre-match entertainment was next, pulling in a national audience of 2.108 million.

Seven had 10 spots in the top 20, 5 spots for the AFL grand final episode, 4 spots for Seven News, and a spot for Monday’s episode of SAS Australia.

Sunday’s episode of Nine’s The Block was the highest in non-sport entertainment, which aired to 1.713 million viewers nationally, and a BVOD audience of 207,000 nationally.

Nine also had 10 spots in the top 20, with The Block taking 4 spots, Nine News with 4 spots, and the rugby league final series episode taking 2 spots.
