Seven’s Beach Cops season premiere down on last year, The Block dominates

The premiere of Seven’s new season of Beach Cops, was down more than 300,000 viewers from its season one premiere.

The program, which aims to give a glimpse into the daily lives of police across Sydney’s Northern beaches, aired in the 8:00pm time slot with 684,000 viewers, while its first season achieved 1.002m. beach-cops

Despite the decline, the program was the most watched in the 8:00pm slot, with the ABC’s Hard Quiz grabbing 628,000 viewers.

Nine’s The Block was the most watched non-news program of the evening reaching 1.032m viewers. The program attracted 126,000 viewers more than last Wednesday night.
