Seven’s The Single Wives falls out of top 20 in Wednesday’s TV ratings

Seven’s latest dating program The Single Wives has shed 32,000 viewers since it launch last week with 375,000 metro viewers.

Hosted by radio personality Fifi Box, last night’s episode of The Single Wives saw 343,000 metro viewers tune in and did not make the top 20 programs according to OzTAM’s overnight preliminary metro ratings.

Also airing at 7.30pm was Ten’s Masterchef Australia which saw 906,000 metro viewers tune in beating Nine’s Britains Got Talent which managed 483,000 metro viewers.

Meanwhile, the ABC’s 7.30 saw 535,000 tune in.

Masterchef was the most watched program across key advertising demographics 16-39, 18-49 and 25-54.

In the news battle for the evening Seven News at 6.00pm won the night with 1.053m metro viewers ahead of Nine News’ 970,000.

At 6.30pm Seven News/Today Tonight attracted 1.013m metro viewers while Nine News at 6.30pm saw 950,000.

Nine won Wednesday night TV with an overall audience share of 17.2% beating Seven’s 16%, Ten’s 14.8%, ABC’s 12.4% and SBS’ 7.9%.
