SheSpot appoints Natalie Douglas

SheSpot has appointed Fairfax’s Natalie Douglas to head up its NSW team.

The announcement:

SheSpot media portfolio today announced the addition of former Fairfax Digital Group Sales Manager, Natalie Douglas to the SheSpot leadership team in the role of NSW Sales Director. Since launching in February 2009, the group continues to tap into the best online talent in Australia as the female-centric ad vertical goes from strength to strength.

An experienced operator within the digital sales space, Douglas originally came to Australia from the UK to launch the Australian arm of global digital sales group AD2ONE. After spending four years with AD2ONE she moved to Fairfax Digital where she has held the GSM role for the last 2 ½ years. Douglas joins the Internet-strong SheSpot leadership team that includes Katie May (Kidspot Founder and CEO, previously with SEEK) and Sales Director Miffy Coady (previously with ninemsn).

According to Katie May, Founder and CEO of Kidspot, the appointment of Douglas is seen as a triumph that will assist the SheSpot team in meeting expansion goals set early in the launch plan.

“Natalie brings strong sales management and start-up media experience to the SheSpot leadership team. Her experience in digital media and advertising sales makes her the ideal candidate to help lead SheSpot in NSW as we continue to grow this vertical into the largest and easiest to buy portfolio of sites targeting women. We are fortunate to have her on board and are confident our clients will immediately benefit from her deep experience.”

Equally as enthusiastic, Douglas adds “I have great confidence in the SheSpot business model and look forward to representing a premium portfolio that not only matches my clients’ needs perfectly but truly resonates with me personally.”
