Showpony reveals new shadow puppet campaign for Bridgestone tyres
Showpony Advertising has worked with a Las Vegas based shadow puppetry artist to create the latest brand campaign for Bridgestone Australia.
The ad focuses on the fact that only the equivalent of one handprint of tread connects each of a car’s tyres to the road.
Showpony creative director Parris Mesidis said the information was the breakthrough in creating the campaign, adding: “Once you know this fact, suddenly the tyres you choose become fundamental to your family’s safety. Creatively we wanted to bring this insight to life in a way that was engaging, but not alarming.”
Shadow puppetry artist Cheri Haight was fundamental in creating a convincing and entertaining visual narrative, Mesidis said, crediting her with giving the ad authenticity.
Animation company Resin and music composer Sean Timms collaborated with Showpony on the ad, which is running across FTA TV, Pay TV and cinema.
