The announcement:

Showpony Advertising has won the coveted advertising account for South Australia’s premier retail precinct, Rundle Mall.

The announcement follows an extensive tender process and creative pitch in which Showpony emerged as the winner among the highly competitive field of applicants.

Showpony General Manager Sophie Young said the win reflected both brands’ commitment to the South Australian community and business sector.

“The recent $30 million redevelopment, revitalisation of laneways and arcades, as well as premium offerings like Tiffany and 2KW have established the Rundle Mall precinct as Adelaide’s premier shopping destination,” Ms Young said.

“We are thrilled to partner with Rundle Mall Management Authority to support its stakeholders and make the most of the content and activation opportunities that this unique destination provides.”

Rundle Mall Management Authority Marketing & Events Consultant Amanda Grocock said the competition for this tender was significant and the Authority received some wonderful pitches.

“After the successful launch of the precinct’s new Unfold Rundle Mall platform in May 2015, the Rundle Mall Management Authority was looking for an Agency with which we could form a strong partnership,” Ms Grocock said.

“Throughout the Tender process Showpony was able to demonstrate their passion for what they do, the quality of their strategic insights and a cultural fit with Rundle Mall that I believe will drive the brand into the future and support our stakeholder community in the years to come.”

Showpony Advertising is an independently owned agency with offices in Adelaide and Melbourne. Clients include Balfours, Coopers, Bridgestone, Yalumba, Adelaide Football Club, and Flinders University.
