Signature Media’s Holidays with Kids launches new website

Signature Media’s family travel platform Holidays with Kids has launched a new website, allowing families to enjoy its content during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and research and plan a getaway when the travel restrictions ease. will allow families to book their holiday through the platform’s travel partners.

The redesigned website features improved search functionality and navigation structure, mobile optimisation and offers advertising and native content opportunities for Holidays with Kids’ travel clients.

Cathy Wagstaff, group editor and CEO of Signature Media, said the new platform gives the business room for more growth.

“We are excited to reveal the new Holidays with Kids website. We have been the authority on family travel for 20+ years with our print magazine, and now with our website relaunch we will escalate our growth with an expanded digital team.

“In light of the current coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, Holidays with Kids will still be publishing content to inspire its readers for when it is safe to travel again. Holidays with Kids will also be providing factual and practical information about the coronavirus and its impact on travel.”

The Holidays with Kids website will now combine the previously separate websites of its sister titles Caravan & Camping with Kids, Ski & Snowboard Kids and The Luxe Edit (formerly Five Star Kids), meaning all types of family travel are accessible in one place.

The content on the website features detailed information on the best accommodation, tours, attractions and destinations for families, specifically focusing on factors such as safety, entertainment and affordability.

Holidays with Kids will continue to publish its Readers’ Choice Awards, which recognise the best accommodation options for families, as well as exclusive deals and packages, competitions, and tips and advice for families.

To celebrate the soft launch of the new website, Holidays with Kids ran its biggest giveaway to date – the HWK Mega Giveaway – which saw 36 lucky families take home a share of over $15,000 of family holidays and travel products, boosting the overall site traffic by 40% compared to the same period the previous year, it said.

Going forward, the publisher is focusing on encouraging families to postpone their holidays, not cancel them, to support the one in ten workers globally who work in the travel industry. The publisher will be doing more content in the near future with a focus on helping families through school holidays while they are unable to travel.
