Simple missteps in going green solved by Powershop’s energy

When it comes to being green, not everyone is perfect, but Powershop is posing its 100% carbon neutral energy as a simple solution for consumers to make a difference for the environment.

The campaign, from WhiteGrey, makes note of the common missteps people make when trying to be environmentally friendly, like forgetting reusable coffee cups, recycling incorrectly, and becoming overloaded with green bags.

“Especially now, everyone has a lot going on – sometimes it can be hard to make a greener choice. Through this campaign, we wanted to show that we understand that nobody’s perfect, but by choosing Powershop, you will always be doing some good,” said Powershop marketing manager Michelle Grigg.

Joint executive creative directors at WhiteGrey, Joe Hill and Garret Fitzgerald, said: “Going greener doesn’t always go according to plan. Joining Powershop is a simple but powerful decision that empowers even the most human of us to help make a difference.”

The campaign will appear online, on radio, social and out of home. The campaign film was directed by Airbag’s Ben Saunders.

Powershop has worked with WhiteGrey since 2019.
