Sky News and The Australian host second annual luncheon

Sky News and The Australian have announced the second annual business luncheon, Australia’s Economic Outlook, with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.

The announcement:

Sky News and The Australian will present the second annual business luncheon – Australia’s Economic Outlook – on Friday 9 June 2023, featuring special guest The Hon Anthony Albanese MP, Prime Minister of Australia.

The Prime Minister will join Sky News political editor Andrew Clennell for a wide-ranging discussion, providing insights on the country’s economy following the release of his government’s first full Federal Budget. The Prime Minister will also share his vision on how the nation will navigate the challenges and opportunities and explore the most topical issues facing business and the economy.

Following the success of the 2022 inaugural event which featured panel discussions and insights with prominent business and political leaders including Jim Chalmers MP, Treasurer of Australia, Sky News’ AM Agenda anchor and leading political journalist Laura Jayes returns to host the two-course business luncheon that will take place at Crown Sydney.

Sky News business editor Ross Greenwood also returns as panel host, together with The Australian’s editorial director Claire Harvey, and will lead a discussion with key business leaders who will explore issues of vital concern to the stakeholders within their respective sectors.
