Sky News has officially launched its subscription service, which gives access to four dedicated news channels for $5 a month.

Subscribers will be able to stream Sky News, Sky News Extra, Sky News Weather, and Fox Sports News, plus will receive a daily newsletter each afternoon, with previews of the upcoming evening’s highlights.

Sky News is the network’s main 24/7 news channel, with live reporting from Kieran Gilbert, Andrew Clennell, Tom Connell, Ashleigh Gillon, Laura Jayes and Peter Stefanovic, as well as opinion shows from the likes of Andrew Bolt, Peta Credlin, Paul Murray, Sharri Markson, Chris Kenny, Piers Morgan, and Erin Molan.

Sky News Extra features live press conferences and Parliament broadcasts, Sky News Weather is self-explanatory, and Fox Sports News is Australia’s only 24/7 sports news channel, “first and live in breaking sports news”.

This offering joins Flash News, Foxtel’s $8 per month news service that offers 25 channels, including Sky News, plus CNN International, Al Jazeera, FOX News, BBC World News, and CNBC.

The service was first announced in late December, just weeks before Sky News Australia announced its 2024 line-up which now includes regular contributor and radio host, Steve Price, and news reporter Cheng Lei.
