Sling & Stone CEO Vuki Vujasinovic said the new clients are focused on battling the COVID-19 crisis.

“Storytelling has always been at the heart of what we do at Sling & Stone, but right now that work seems more important than ever. From connecting Australians with life-saving medicines, to transforming how medical supplies reach remote areas of the globe, the healthtech industry is on the frontline of the global fight against COVID-19.

“These companies play a pivotal role in seeing the world through the current crisis and if they succeed, we all do. Having the opportunity to tell their stories is as humbling as it is inspiring,” Vujasinovic said.

Prospection uses AI and machine learning to predict and prevent shortfalls in supply of critical medications. Meanwhile, Swoop Aero is a drone company that has been employed during the COVID-19 crisis to transport essential medicine and pathology tests overseas.

Sling & Stone’s remit for AI company Cortical Labs will cross Australia and the US. Also joining the client roster in the US is temporary healthcare staffing marketplace, Nursefly.
