The announcement:

Innovative online coaching start-up Slocoach has kicked off 2021 by scoring an exciting new partnership with Australia’s premier sports streaming service, Kayo Sports.

The new partnership will provide Kayo customers with access to select content created by the Slocoach platform, including personalised coaching tips and advice from world leading coaches and athletes to help improve the customers’ own sporting performance.

The Slocoach / Kayo partnership will initially highlight Australian cricketing talent, featuring legends such as Michael Slater, Lisa Sthalekar, Damian Fleming, Greg Blewett, Jackson Bird and a number of up-and-coming stars.

Slocoach has an impressive roster of other renowned coaches, also available at fans’ fingertips including: Olympian Sally Pearson, Tennis legend Casey Dellacqua, Basketball Hall of Famer Lauren Jackson, Olympic medallist Matthew Mitcham, and AFL great Dane Swan, amongst many other sporting greats.

Slocoach is changing the way we’ll learn sports and the world of coaching for the better. Developed in Australia during the height of COVID-19 restrictions, Slocoach uses revolutionary video technology to connect sport fans with their favourite sporting icons to receive one-on-one, completely personalised coaching. Using Slocoach, all students need to do is upload a video clip of themselves performing any skill, and they’ll receive unique feedback from the best athletes in the business.

Kayo delivers sports fans unrivalled coverage with 50 plus Australian and international sports live and on demand along with a world-leading user experience.

With Slocoach establishing itself as the market leader in their field, the partnership will deliver Kayo customers additional content and a unique coaching experience by providing them with select, personalised content from the Slocoach platform.

Slocoach Co-Founder Luke Jecks says of the partnership: “We at SLOCOACH are thrilled to be partnering with Kayo in 2021. Australian fans have long enjoyed watching their favourite icons, but for the first time they’ll be able to take it to the next level by accessing the SLOCOACH platform to get involved with their favourite sport.

“Slocoach uses cutting-edge tech and interactive analysis tools to equip coaches across 20 different sports with everything they need to closely analyse a student’s performance, providing them with the next best thing to live-viewing,” said Luke Jecks.

The Slocoach platform is available and open to fans of all ages and abilities – from complete beginners to professionals, so all Kayo Sports subscribers can experience the magic of Slocoach.

Kim McConnie, Marketing Director at Kayo Sports said: “Kayo is about bringing fans closer to the sports they love. This new partnership with Slocoach will provide customers with access to content from expert coaches and athletes through the Slocoach platform which is aimed to help improve their sports knowledge and performance.

“Kayo is the unrivalled home to 50 plus sports live and on demand with a world-leading user experience and we are always looking for ways to provide our customers with even more of the content they love.”

The partnership marks an exciting start to the year for Slocoach after a successful launch into Australia in 2020. The start-up is looking to take the platform to new heights this year and is currently eyeing up several other exciting partnerships, including a launch into the US market, and its Arts/Entertainment platform.
