This video has appeared on YouTube in what looks like the next instalment of Lowe Sydney’s viral campaign for Football Federation Australia’s Socceroos’ World Cup qualification campaign.
The previous video – which has gained about a third of a million views on YouTube – featured the Uzbekistan team in extreme training. The new instalment doesn’t stray too far from that formula, this time featuring a Bahraini goalkeeper stopping shots from hitting the manager’s new car.
The Socceroos play Bahrain in the qualifiers on June 10, in a game which could see Australia qualify for the 2010 tournament in South Africa.
But with Australia all but qualified, Lowe’s strategy has been to promote the opposition, in a bid to convince fans that ther matches are still worth attending.
