We Are Social appoints an editorial director, Suz Tucker
Suz Tucker has joined social agency We Are Social as its first ‘editorial director’.
In her new role Tucker will head up the agency’s team of content editors.
Tucker joins We Are Social from her previous stint at online retailer ASOS where she was a senior editor for almost 18 months.
Prior to her time at ASOS, Tucker was an editor in chief at creative agency AnalogFolk.
According to her LinkedIn, Tucker “made a full shift into branded digital content strategy and the challenge of balancing empathy for both the audience and the brand” during her time at AnalogFolk.
Tucker has also spent time at The ARC Factor, Oyster Magazine and Pedestrian Group.
“For me, the strategic thinking, the passion for creativity and the people at We Are Social were all major drawcards.
“The business has a great reputation for its work across progressive clients who embrace content that’s grounded in audience value, as well as a strong culture that champions creativity and diversity,” Tucker said in a statement.
Suzie Shaw, managing director at We Are Social, said Tucker has experience across both publishers and brands and “really grips the audience”.
“We’re really excited about her joining We Are Social to inspire and lead our growing team of editors,” Shaw said.
We Are Social’s clients include Netflix, Optus, Adidas and Lavazza.
