Society adds 5 to team, makes 2 promotions

Communications agency, Society, has bolstered its team with five appointments and two promotions.

The new additions include marketing communications and digital director, Emma Kenneally, who joined the agency after a decade as retail marketing manager at Vicinity Centres.

Charlotte Benhiam-Cusack and Lunetta Hua have been added as marketing communications consultants, and Maddy Stubbs and Emmanuel Cavaleri have been hired as coordinators.

“Our brand values are attracting top talent at all levels,” said managing director and founder Dena Vassallo.

“Whether that is global agency talent looking to join an up-and-coming independent, or in-house team members looking to be re-energised by a strong client portfolio, Society has a lot to offer, and we’re prepared for a big year ahead.”

Society has also elevated a number of existing team members. Mel Huggins has been promoted to the newly-created role of client services director after joining the agency seven months ago as marketing communications manager. Sophie Chant has recently taken up Huggins’ previous role as marketing communications manager following ten months as a marketing communications consultant.

Finally, Maisie Callcott has relocated from the Adelaide to Sydney office.

“As a people-first agency, we’re pleased that we can continue to create opportunities within the group for new experiences and challenges that will help personal growth,” Vassallo added.

“Whether that’s establishing new roles to deliver client excellence, or finding unique opportunities to work across our teams, we will always champion our people.”
