The announcement:

Award winning creative communications agency SOCIETY has announced two new appointments across its Sydney and Adelaide offices.

SOCIETY shows no signs of slowing down, as the integrated agency adds two new account managers to its Adelaide and Sydney teams, continuing the company’s trend of significant growth over the past two years.

Joining the team in Adelaide as Marketing Communications Manager, is Hannah Blackiston. Hannah comes to SOCIETY from her previous appointment as Account Director at boutique PR agency Media & Capital Partners in Sydney. Prior to moving into PR, Hannah was the former Acting Editor of Mumbrella. After 10 years of experience in roles as a journalist for Nine, a business producer at Sky News and a production editor at Bauer Media, Hannah also brings significant experience in finance and investor reporting.

“It’s fantastic to have someone like Hannah with such strong media and content experience join our team,” said Dena Vassallo, CEO and founder of SOCIETY.

The Sydney office also welcomes Lucy Brewer as a new Marketing Communications Consultant. With over four years’ experience in media, marketing and communications industries, Lucy joins SOCIETY following her most recent position as Digital Communications Officer at the University of Adelaide. Lucy has also worked as a freelance journalist, with experience spanning digital engagement, strategic communications, social media strategy, and content creation.

“I’m excited to welcome both Lucy and Hannah to the SOCIETY family,” commented Vassallo, “both are communications specialists with impressive writing and media experience behind them, and I look forward to the opportunities they’ll bring to our clients in 2022 and beyond. I’m also delighted to see opportunities across state borders, with Hannah relocating to Adelaide from Sydney to take up this role, and Lucy heading to Sydney. We hope to see more of this, and welcome those who want to join us in either office.”
