Society adds Optus to client roster
Mumbrella can reveal that marketing communications agency Society has been awarded the PR account for Optus.
While the agency was reluctant to elaborate on the circumstances of the new client win, a Society spokesperson advised Mumbrella that the agency’s remit will include public relations support across all Optus functions, including consumer and business.
Mumbrella understands that Thrive PR is the incumbent, having been reappointed to handle Optus’ PR in 2019, after first winning the account in 2015.
Mumbrella also hears that Society will commence work on the Optus account effective immediately.
The client win joins a national lineup for the agency, with the current roster including: Kraft Heinz, Equatorial Launch Australia, Woolworths, South Australian Tourism Commission, and San Remo.
