Society hires new Group Director and adds Vinomofo to agency roster

Integrated creative agency Society has announced the appointment of KWP!’s Sarah Thomas as Group Director alongside the acquisition of new client Vinomofo.

Award winning, integrated creative agency SOCIETY is further expanding in Adelaide, with the appointment of a new Group Director and the addition of its newest client; Australian-based leading online wine retailer Vinomofo.

With 20 years of experience in the PR and marketing industries across Australia and the UK, Sarah Thomas joins SOCIETY as Adelaide’s Group Director, following her most recent role as Executive Director at KWP!

Thomas is a creative communications leader, with robust experience spanning global agency, government, not-for-profit, and consultancy expertise in strategic communication, stakeholder and digital engagement.

As a skilled project and program director with expertise in leading high-performing teams, this new appointment sees SOCIETY continue its upward trajectory. SOCIETY Managing Director and Founder Dena Vassallo said that as the agency continues to grow, she was thrilled to appoint Sarah Thomas to the key role to lead further growth internally and externally within the agency.

Also joining SOCIETY is Australian-based leading online wine retailer, Vinomofo. Setting the benchmark for online wine retailing around the globe since 2011, the company originally created in an Adelaide garage has amassed a customer base of over 500,000 wine-loving ‘mofos’ around the world.

SOCIETY is working with Vinomofo to deliver strategic communications, branding and marketing support as well as generating high quality media engagement amongst its fast-expanding base of customers. With growth and innovation at the forefront, Thomas will lead the team during this new phase for both businesses.

Thomas says she is thrilled to add Vinomofo to SOCIETY’s growing roster of clients and help lead them towards further growth through robust strategy and clever, onbrand tactics.
