Previously, she worked across a variety of industries including technology, solar, allied health, and party plan. The move comes as SodaStream Australia’s previous managing director Mark Fenton takes on the role as managing director in the United States, the first Australian to do-so.

Commenting on the new role, Wilson said: “I am honoured to be given this opportunity, and one of the key things I am focused on as I commence my new role is ensuring we maintain our strong people focused culture. At SodaStream, we have six What Counts Factors that ensure every SodaStreamer knows and understands the key values of our organisation. One of these, and the most important in my opinion is ‘One SodaStream – our focus on our people, culture, and collaboration’.”

Marked as one of her career highlights, Wilson launched SodaStream’s environmental campaign ‘Oceans of the Future’ in 2019 bringing attention to one of the world’s biggest issues – plastic pollution.

The campaign included a one-tonne turtle sculpture, made of recycled plastic ocean waste and a bespoke virtual reality experience to  connect consumers to the plastic pollution issue.

Wilson added: “I’m truly proud to have worked for an organisation like SodaStream for close to ten years. We’re a company that takes action to make the planet a better place for the next generation- a fact we are proud of, and openly highlight in our annual SustainabilityCommitment Report.”

SodaStream Australia has also embraced a more circular economy with its recycling and refurbishment initiative. Additionally, SodaStream will help avoid an additional 200 million single use plastic bottles by transitioning our flavours to a metal bottle by 2025.

Holly Walker will take on the role of marketing manager of SodaStream Australia. Walker has been working with SodaStream Australia for more than12 months, previously as trade marketing manager.

Walker said f her new role: “I am excited to take on this new role and for the opportunity to continue to elevate the brand through local marketing activity here in Australia. SodaStream is synonymous with purpose driven and engaging marketing campaigns, often incorporating humour and featuring global celebrities, all while keeping sustainability at the forefront, which is a matter close to my heart.

“I will work with my team to capture and highlight the essence of our local markets, speaking directly to Australian consumers. With significant innovation in the pipeline, I look forward to taking new and existing SodaStreamers on the exciting journey ahead, introducing them to our next generation of technology which offers versatility, style and improved user experiences.”
