Solar Shop awards Clemenger Adelaide ad account

Solar Shop Australia, the solar panel provider, has awarded Clemenger BBDO Adelaide its advertising account as part of the brand’s review of its tactical-based marketing strategy.

Solar Shop was first established in Adelaide almost ten years ago. It now has operations in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Canberra and Tasmania.

Kim Boehm, Clemenger BBDO Adelaide managing director, said previously the company has focused on tactical marketing activity at a local level.

Boehm added: “There are so many players in the market, they now need to restate their leadership and hold their ground.”

The agency was awarded the account following a pitch with several undisclosed agencies.

The previous incumbent was South Australian-based independent agency Lathlean Advertising.
