Sound Alliance and Ignite Media Brands partner to create one youth network

Sound Alliance and Ignite Media Brands have announced a partnership to create one youth network.

The announcement:

Australia’s leading online youth publisher Sound Alliance has partnered with Ignite Media Brands to handle its media agency sales, in a move that creates the country’s biggest and most innovative digital youth media network.

Sound Alliance’s suite of successful mastheads including FasterLouder, inthemix, SameSame and Junkee will now be offered alongside MTV, creating the clear number 1 youth & lifestyle offering.

“With Ignite representing our media agency sales this means our collective focus will be on developing insights, strategies and content for brands that will span events, digital, mobile, native and TV,” said Sound Alliance CEO Neil Ackland.

Ignite Media Brands CEO Brian Gallagher said: “The fit is perfect. We are all about leading the way and working with dynamic and premium brands in the digital and content space. Sound Alliance’s pioneering approach to youth brands and native advertising, and our ability to connect those brands to marketers is unique.”

“Together we are now able to cross promote our publishing brands to increase traffic, reach and effectiveness for advertisers”.

Ackland said “Now we have the scale that allows the combined group to collaborate on data, targeting and working in the programmatic environment.”

Sound Alliance will continue to sell directly to its music industry partners and its in house creative agency will retain its direct brand relationships alongside the new agreement.
