Sparro hires new strategy director Michael Troumbas

Digital marketing agency Sparro has appointed Michael Troumbas as strategy director.

Troumbas previously spent three and a half years at Bench, starting out as senior account manager and leaving as head of strategy.

Troumbas is now the strategy director at Sparro

Troumbas has also held account management roles at News Corp Australia and Microsoft, where he was the agency’s account manager.

Troumbas said of his appointment: “Sparro lives and breathes transparency and delivering true value to their clients. I’ve always been very impressed with their award-winning work and enviable culture and I’m thrilled to be joining such a high performing team. There is a clearly defined vision and growth plan and Sparro will be well-placed to hit even greater heights in 2020 and beyond.”

In his new role, Troumbas will join the agency’s leadership team.

Sparro co-founder and partner, Morris Bryant, said: “It’s hard to find someone with Michael’s passion, experience and honesty. We enjoy working with people we know and trust, and that made bringing on Michael an easy choice.

“We’re really excited for the programmatic and wider media expertise he’s going to bring to the team and our clients. We’ve got huge plans for the future, and Troumbas comes at a perfect time to help us hit the next level.”

Recently, Sparro took on Choice as a client, working with its paid search account. The agency also works with Aon Australia, Brandenburg Orchestra, The Beauty Chef, Temple & Webster, Catch, Webjet, Estee Lauder and Domino’s Pizza.
