Sportsbet removes joke about Notre Dame fire
Dr Mumbo won’t make a joke about this one. Fire ripped through Notre Dame in Paris and it was horrific.
Sportsbet though, as ever, saw the funny side, and thought letting people know on Twitter was a good idea.
The controversy-seeking brand, which frequently catches the ire of the advertising watchdog and vigilant consumers, sent out this Tweet last night.
And everyone is offended again
Could it instead have been removed because of the spelling mistake?
An egregious spello.
The spelling mistake is consistent with the low-intellect, knuckle-trailing morons who write this stuff – and those who approve it.
These are the same mob of idiots that paid out on a Labor Party win, that didn’t happen and the clowns lost millions, love it.

I have some sympathy with this tweet. Before this PC world, Skippies would be decanted from a tour bus in some dirty town (eg Paris) concerned only that they would get around “the historics” as quickly as poss, add a choice graffito in memoriam of Kev, Barb and Roscoe’s visit and still be able sink a few at a local hostelry before boarding the bus again to go to the hotel.
I mean like there’s only so many Gothic churches and Crown of Thorns relics you need to see in one lifetime.
What is so offensive about these jokes? No-one was killed in the fire.
