Spots and Space now representing Brisbane’s Reading Radio

Spots and Space has been appointed as Reading Radio’s national sponsorship sales representative.

The announcement:

Reading Radio (formerly Radio 4RPH) has appointed Spots and Space as their national sponsorship sales representative.

Reading Radio services started life as a service on Melbourne’s multicultural community station 3ZZZ, and in Brisbane it began as a service that broadcasted the daily newspapers for an hour each morning on community radio station 4MBS.

Brisbane’s 4RPH launched in 1984 and in 2019 rebranded as Reading Radio – a move which marked the station’s strategic repositioning to encompass not only the over 60, vision impaired and blind communities, but a wider listenership under the station’s “empowerment through information” motto.

Today the station’s broadcast content encompasses current affairs, lifestyle, finance, health, audio books for both adults and children and sophisticated political and economic information.

Station Manager, Scott Black said, “I am truly excited to partner with Spots and Space on this exciting venture. Updating Reading Radio for the digital age has been a very rewarding experience while still staying true to our traditional broadcasting roots. Listenership and community engagement are at an all-time high and working with Spots & Space will help us grow even bigger.”

Spots and Space is the national media sales partner for Australia’s leading culturally and linguistically diverse media. We connect advertisers with ethnic, indigenous, community and other specialist media by providing a single point of contact for advertisers, and their media agencies.
