Sputnik Agency makes new hires

Interactive agency Sputnik has expanded with a raft of new hires and promotions.

The announcement:

Sputnik Agency has unveiled several new faces this week following a round of hiring and promotions to manage organic growth from their existing client base.

Jodie Roach, Will Rose and Sam Harris have been brought on board to join the agency’s creative team in Melbourne, while Sam Hemphill joins Dimitry Rybkin and Nicole Dixon in their new roles in the Technical and Operations teams. In Sydney, Dan Robathan joins the agency in the newly created role of Group Account Director and Barry Saunders comes on board as a User Experience Analyst.

“We’re thrilled to have this swathe of new talent joining Sputnik and are confident that their recruitment will prove to be a real positive for both the agency and our clients,” said Stephen O’Farrell, Managing Director of Sputnik Agency.

“In particular, the appointment of Dan Robathan to our Sydney office is testament to Sputnik’s continued national expansion.

“The promotion of Dimitry Rybkin to Head of Technology also further cements our ability to deliver innovative, powerful technical solutions.

“The fact that we continue to be given more and more projects from our key clients across a broader range of their business units is a really good indicator that we are delivering as an agency.

“As we expand, the requirement for tightly structured and managed processes has become an imperative and Nicole Dixon is the perfect person to manage this role across both our offices.”

Sputnik’s expanding client base that has prompted the appointments includes: GE Capital where the agency is now working on both the corporate and commercial businesses;

Origin Energy where Sputnik has been appointed to work on the Origin Foundation business; and Google where Sputnik is now involved with their display and AdWords retention teams. In Sydney, the agency has won more government work, this time for Industry and Investment NSW.
