SQREEM Technologies acquires Melbourne-founded Trade Indy

Singapore-based digital behaviour aggregator SQREEM Technologies has officially acquired Trade Indy – a programmatic business founded in Melbourne.

The announcement:

Singapore based SQREEM Technologies, the world’s largest digital behaviour aggregator, has acquired Melbourne-founded, programmatic business Trade Indy, as part of their ongoing global expansion plans.

Founded in 2010, SQREEM Technologies is a pure artificial intelligence company which develops AI solutions that match online behaviours with brands and publishers, identifying clients’ most valuable groups of customers and their behaviours. This disruptive technology has solved one of the most difficult challenges of the current online advertising landscape – delivering cookie-free, precision, Ad-targeting at scale and helping brands to track 100% of their spend.

Founded in 2014, Trade Indy currently operates across Australia, Southeast Asia, Middle East and North America. With the Australian capability expanding alongside rapid growth in their Southeast Asian business, the acquisition has come at a pivotal time for Trade Indy. Trade Indy’s success has predominantly been built on offering programmatic managed service to media agencies and brands direct, more recently, using the SQREEM platform to drive incremental results they’ve not experienced with other platforms.

Directors Mark Rosenberg and James Robertson view this acquisition as a natural progression with both organisations sharing the same values and drive for creating best in market technology and customer service. By amalgamating with SQREEM, Trade Indy will have exclusive access to the world’s largest taxonomy of audiences which, coupled with supply, are activated through its global network.

“The agreement to merge with SQREEM expands both business offerings by bringing together our experienced managed service team with advanced, cookieless, AI driven technology. This move into the SQREEM group is an exciting growth opportunity at a time when the market is demanding next generation digital media solutions” commented Rosenberg.

“We are excited to see this relationship expand our horizons and provide us with not only the resources to maintain growth, but to also introduce the SQREEM platform to other agencies and brands across the region,” adds Robertson.

The SQREEM x Trade Indy partnership creates a new, unprecedented offering, making them one of the world’s largest AI Partnership providers. For agencies and clients alike, the partnership will allow brands to identify and illustrate their audiences with peak precision, building longer-term digital relationships, enhancing brand impact and driving budget accountability.

CEO of SQREEM Technologies Ian Chapman Banks, said: “As part of our ongoing growth strategy, SQREEM Technologies has grown significantly over the past two years alone, with acquisitions and partnerships in more than 10 markets globally. The Trade Indy acquisition is significant in that it simultaneously puts SQREEM into the global A-League of AI Innovators but domestically, whilst Australia currently ranks 15th out of 62 countries across the world for AI adoption, this presents a unique opportunity for early adopters like SQREEM and Trade Indy, to drive significant growth for their clients whilst expanding their global reach and relevance.”

SQREEM Technologies acquisition is effective immediately with Trade Indy integrating into the SQREEM Technologies Group stable.
