Staedtler go back to school in 3D cinema campaign
Stationary company Staedtler will launch a 3D cinema ‘back to school’ campaign from Boxing Day. The ads will run in 3D releases, Happy Feet2, The Adventures of Tintin, Alvin and the Chipmunks; Chipwrecked, and Hugo.

Writing instrument company, STAEDTLER, is capitalising on family movies releasing this summer with a 3D cinema campaign targeting parents with children. The STAEDTLER Back to School campaign breaks in 3D on selected cinemas from Boxing Day.
The amazing techiness of 3D movies seems an odd choice of partner for the humble pencil but in fact all the conceptual art work is done in red and blue pencils by two artists. One using their left eye and one the right. This process can be seen on Peter Jackson’s 3DHobbit video updates. Fascinating.
