Stan Sport launches 4K Ultra HD streaming for Champions League quarter-finals

The UEFA Champions League enters the first leg of its quarter-finals this week, with every final being broadcast in 4K Ultra HD on supported devices via Stan Sport.

The UEFA Champions League enters the first leg of its Quarter Final matches this week, with every final being broadcast in 4K Ultra HD on supported devices.

On Wednesday, Stan Sport’s Max Rushden, Mark Bosnich and Craig Foster will cover all the action in Manchester City v Atlético and on Thursday all eyes will be on Chelsea v Real Madrid, both matches streaming ad-free, live and on demand and from 4:35am AEST.

On Friday, the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference will also be back for its Quarter Final first leg.

In a landmark first in Australian streaming history, Stan Sport will this week debut 4K Ultra HD live and on-demand streaming for the entirety of the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League Finals series.

4K Ultra HD streaming will allow fans to watch football in stunning clarity, enhancing the action and emotion and revealing never-before-seen details.

Any Stan account can access the 4K Ultra HD matches, provided they have the Stan Sport add-on, and a supported 4K-capable device.

Stan’s director of sport Ben Kimber said: “The addition of 4K Ultra HD streaming means Australia’s best sports streaming service just got even better. We are proud to be leading the way as the first streaming service in Australia to offer live 4K sport, and providing the best way for football fans to watch the game they love.”
