Starts at 60, an online media outlet curated for an older demographic, has appointed Nicki Williams as its new national sales director.
Williams’ previous experiences include state and national sales roles at a range of media outlets including Fairfax, Seven and Southern Cross Austereo.

The appointment comes just as the Brisbane-based company opens its first Sydney office.

Rebecca Wilson, founder and CEO of Starts at 60, says the change of scene was an integral factor in Williams’ appointment.
“We’ve been looking for the right person to lead our Sydney presence for some months and welcome Nicki to the team with excitement. Our team’s expansion into Sydney really needed the right values and personality behind it.
“We pride ourselves on making media for over 60s young, fun and engaging.”
Williams joins the team just as it begins promoting its new data-driven advertising opportunities to potential clients.
According to Wilson, “This will enable premium advertisers and sponsors to access a variety of targetable cohorts over 60, unavailable anywhere else in such quality and volumes in the media industry.”
