Startup agency LaunchVic encourages Victorians to ‘scale up’ their careers

LaunchVic, Victoria’s government agency dedicated to growing the startup eco system, has encouraged Australians to “scale up” their careers in its latest campaign.

The ad was created following research which found only one in four people were aware that scale-up companies existed.

Created by Cyclone Creative, Keep Left and MediaCom, the ad is the first campaign LaunchVic and is running across outdoor and digitals channels.

Dr Kate Cornick, LaunchVic CEO, said in a statement: “The campaign aims to introduce Victorians to the career possibilities of working in the startup ecosystem, redefining the perceived risks and highlighting that you don’t need to be a software developer to work at a startup or scale-up.”

Sam Hooper, managing partner at Cyclone Creative, added: “We needed an impactful idea that would spark the interest of those ready to make a change in their career. A workhorse transforming into a unicorn was the perfect representation.”
