Marshall said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to do what I love – tell splendid stories, across a range of modern platforms, to really engage audiences. I hope we can create beautiful and original content which perhaps will solve a problem, or sell a product, inspire, excite, entertain, even make your heart sing.”
I have been a punter all my life.I have used sports betting often I am however opposed to all forms of advertising of gambling I am also a smoker and look how attitudes (alas not mine) to smoking have changed as a result of a ban on advertising.Take it from one who knows gambling like smoking is “….a Mugs Game”.Punters know where and when to get all their info and dont need the ads. Most of the betting agencies primarily use credit cards leaving new punters able quickly and easily rack up a debt of several thousand dollars.Having No gambling ads like having No smoking ads can only be beneficial for all.Youngsters particularly should be insulated or advised against bad habits whenever possible.Smoking used to be glamorous 50 years ago now we know its deadly.Gambling has the ability to do more harm than good in some if not all areas of society and doesn’ t need promoting.
