Stranger Things star hits screens again for Politix

Australian menswear retailer Politix has launched the latest iteration of its ‘The Gentle Man’ campaign, featuring Stranger Things actor and brand ambassador Dacre Montgomery.

The brand platform launched in March this year, aiming to challenge the notion of traditional masculinity.

Created by Fabric, part of the TBWA\Sydney Group, the spot explores what holds young men back and highlights the importance of men embracing the many aspects of themselves.

The creative features a conversation between a series of Dacres, each a different aspect of himself he has been holding back.

Fabric’s co-founder and creative partner, Keenan Motto, said: “To build on the platform ‘The Gentle Man’ we wanted to reflect the multiplicity of the modern man, while encouraging other young men to express the different aspects of their personality.

“In doing so this was a wonderful opportunity to showcase the depth Dacre has as a performer,” Motto added.

“This season we are excited to continue the conversation about modern masculinity,” added Megan Voss, Politix’s head of marketing.

“The spring/summer ‘Gentle Man’ campaign is an exciting evolution of this discussion, that playfully shows that a man is more than one dimensional, inviting men to show more of the man they are.”
