Strategic brand agency Maven Intelligence announces closure

Strategic brand agency Maven Intelligence has closed operations, with its founders stating they need to return their focus to their other businesses.

In a message sent out to clients and stakeholders on Friday, Elisa Choy and Keeva Stratton, wrote: “During what has been an extraordinary few months, we have determined it best to return our focus to our principal businesses and to close Maven Intelligence. Thank you for your past business and support.”

Maven Intelligence launched in January

Stratton is the director of strategic brand agency Quip Brands. She is also the co-founder of Ms Tee, a ‘slow fashion’ boutique label of T-shirts.

Choy founded data, insights and artificial intelligence (AI) consultancy, Strategic Data Central in 2018. She has previously worked in analytics and data science at Caltex and Sensis.

Maven Intelligence launched in January of this year, combining the specialities of Stratton and Choy, offering brand consulting backed by data and AI.

The business promoted itself as ‘Australia’s first strategic brand agency powered by AI’.

During its brief life, the agency worked with Seven West Media.

Choy and Stratton have been contacted for further comment.
