Strong return for Packed To The Rafters
The series return of Packed To The Rafters was the most-watched show for Tuesday night followed by Seven News, Today Tonight and the finale of Winners & Losers.
The return of the popular series fetched 1.815 million according to preliminary OzTam metro ratings, while Winners & Losers, also on Seven, received an audience of 1.23 million.
The strong performance by the shows lead Seven to an easy win with 28.5% share for the night.
Nine’s top show was Nine News in fifth with 1.33 million and Ten’s was a new episode of Modern Family with 933,000.

I watched the last half hour of Rafters for the FIRST time last night. I am shocked at why the show is popular. John Howard looks way too untidy and rotund, the parents seem too young to have so many grown up children around the same age, why was Rachel going to New York. She didnt seem to want to. was she forced? Why didnt any of the family see her off at the airport? Who writes the storylines and has anyone questioned these things?Strange
Apparently it’s a TV show which aims to attract as many viewers as possible which helps boost ratings figures which in turn helps boost advertising dollars.
What actually “happens” is irrelevant.
