Strong showing from Aussie agencies on Mumbrella Asia Awards shortlist
Several Australian agencies have made the shortlist for this year’s Mumbrella Asia Awards.
The awards, which will be presented at the Intercontinental Hotel in Singapore on February 23, feature APAC Agency of the Year categories for the first time.
In the APAC Emerging Agency of the Year, Emotive will be doing battle with three agencies from across Asia.
In the APAC Specialist Agency of the Year category, Australia has three of the six finalists, with Atomic 212, Rotor Studios and TLC Marketing taking on contenders from across the rest of the region.
In the APAC Media Agency of the Year category, four of the six finalists are from Australia, with Atomic 212, Carat Australia, Match Media and OMD Australia all in the running.
The APAC PR Agency of the Year category sees four of the six finalists from Australia. Atomic 212, Eleven, Red Agency and Weber Shandwick Australia are all in contention.
And of the four contenders for APAC Creative Agency of the Year, two are from Australia, and one from New Zealand. Auckland’s Colenso BBDO will be up against McCann Australia, The Monkeys Australia and Havas Singapore.
The full list of finalists is available on Mumbrella Asia. The awards are organised by Mumbrella’s sister site, Mumbrella Asia, with a jury of 115 media and marketing executives from across the region.
The 2017 call for entries for this year’s Mumbrella Awards in Australia, which take place in June, will be published shortly.
