Subway revives Ultimate Cheesy Garlic Bread for winter 2025

Winter blues don’t stand a chance! Subway® Australia is warming up the colder months with the highly anticipated return of Ultimate Cheesy Garlic Bread.
After a long, cold, four-year hiatus, the cheesy crowd pleaser is back from Monday, 2 June for a strictly limited time.
An indulgent add-on to any sub, Ultimate Cheesy Garlic Bread starts with a slathering of rich, creamy garlic spread on both sides of the bread, covered in three decadent layers of mozzarella cheese that are toasted to oozy, stringy perfection before being topped with your favourite sub ingredients.
In the comfort food crossover Australians have been craving, you can customise your Ultimate Cheesy Garlic Bread base as usual or opt for a Subway® Signature Menu taste sensation, recommended by the Subway® flavour experts.
Picture stretchy, melted mozzarella cheese on an Italian Meatball sub, the creamy garlic spread tickling your tastebuds on a protein-packed Chicken Pepperoni, or the decadence of a melted cheese and steak combo of a Chipotle Steak Melt.
Cheese-lovers need to get their orders in quick, with the Ultimate Cheesy Garlic Bread available in-restaurant or via delivery until 3 August 2025, or while stocks last.
Subway® Australia & New Zealand director of marketing, Rodica Titeica, said guests have craved the cheesy, garlicky taste sensation since it was last on the Subway® winter menu in 2021.
“As the weather turns colder, we all crave cosying up with our favourite comfort foods and there is nothing more satisfying than sandwiching your favourite sub ingredients between two melty, ultraoozy pieces of cheesy garlic bread,” Ms Titeica said.
“The Ultimate Cheesy Garlic Bread was a game-changer when we first released it, so it was a nobrainer for us to give our guests the comeback they’ve been crying out for.
“Whether you’re gathering with mates for a weekend game of footy, staying in on a rainy weekend, or having a movie-night with the family, this is the ultimate comfort food for winter that everyone will want a bite of.”
